Japan refinery TonenGeneral's product exports jump

Singapore-Japanese refiner TonenGeneral exported 4.9 billion liters of refined prod- ucts in the first nine months of the year, up 30% from 3.77 billion liters in the same period of 2012. Oil product exports accounted for 21.8% of the company's sales in the period, compared with 17% in the first nine months of 2012. The company posted record export vol- umes in the third quarter, due in part "to capture diesel/jet premiums over domestic [prices]," TonenGeneral said Thursday.
