Seoul-A South Korean business tycoon, who owns the country's biggest oil refiner SK Inno- vation, was sentenced to four years in prison on January 31 on charges of embezzling com- pany funds for personal investments. Chey Tae-Won, chairman of the country's third-largest conglomerate SK Group, was imprisoned immediately after the Seoul Cen- tral District Court handed down the ruling. "Chey is accused of using affiliates his group runs for personal profits, which greatly disappointed the public," the court said in the ruling.
