London—Norway’s new center-right coalition government on Wednesday named its oil minister as Tord Lien, an appointment welcomed by both the industry and environmentalist groups. Replacing outgoing minister Ola Borten Moe, Lien will serve under new Prime Minister Erna Solberg who announced her new cabinet on Wednesday in the wake of her party’s September national election victory.
