Russia reassures on oil output growth through 2030

Moscow—Russia’s enormous reserves base is capable of ensuring crude oil output growth through 2030 and beyond, allowing it to meet its exports obligations and secure domestic supplies, a senior official at the country’s natural resources ministry said Wednesday. Deputy minister Denis Khramov said Russia’s current resource base is sufficient to secure crude production at 500 million mt/ year (10 million b/d), or even up to 600 million mt/year (12 million b/d).
