Shell disappoints with latest well off French Guiana

London—Shell has failed to find more oil with its latest exploration well off French Guiana in a second set-back to a high-profile drilling campaign off the South American region. An exploration well designed as a follow-up on the promising Zaedyus oil discovery made in 2011 have proved dry after hitting its target, one of Shell’s block partners said April 17.
