Continental searches for third shale play

Houston—Continental Resources is actively searching for a third major play in North America to add to oil reserves discovered in North Dakota and Oklahoma, President Rick Boot said Thursday. The US producer has an emerging plays team that is tasked to find drilling opportunities in basins, Boot said during a presentation webcast from Barclays CEO Energy-Power Conference in New York.
