Myanmar Shwe project to reach peak output in 2015

Mumbai-Myanmar's deepwater Shwe gas project, which spans over blocks A-1/A-3 in the Bay of Bengal off the Rakhine state, is expected to reach peak output of 14.50 mil- lion cu m/d (512,000 Mcf/d) in the first quar- ter of 2015. The deepwater project, which began produc- tion in mid-July, is currently producing 4.6 million cu m/d and output is set to rise to 5.67 million cu m/d in December, said India's ONGC Videsh Ltd., which has a 17% stake in the project.
