London—Falkland Oil and Gas (FOGL) hasagreed to farm out stakes in its Falklandexploration licenses to Italy’s Edison in adeal allowing the UK-listed company to fundexpanded drilling plans off the disputed SouthAtlantic islands.In a statement, FOGL said it has agreedthe terms of a farm-out deal with Edison,owned by French power group EDF, fora 25% interest in FOGL’s northern arealicenses and a 12.5% stake in its southernarea blocks.
