Dubai—UK independent Heritage Oil said April3 it had found another natural gas reservoiron the Miran block in the northern Iraqi regionof Kurdistan.In an update on the Miran West-3 well,Heritage said tests of a reservoir intervalabove the main Jurassic reservoir resulted ina flow of up to 17,500 Mcf/d of natural gas.The gas produced during the test wasdescribed as “dry,” indicating it containedlittle in the way of associated condensateor other gas liquids—often a big potentialsource of revenue from gas discoveries, par-ticularly in remote regions with few pipelines.
