London—Commodity trader Glencore Xstrata will be able to market almost all of the oil expected to start flowing shortly from the Badila and Mangara fields in Chad operated by Canada’s Caracal Energy, said Alex Beard, head of Glencore’s oil division. Glencore farmed into the Chad project earlier this year and now has a 35% stake, alongside Caracal with 50% and state oil company Societe des Hydrocarbures du Tchad with 15%.
