Dhaka—The UK’s Tullow Oil is aiming to rampup production from Bangladesh’s Bangoragas field in onshore block 9 by at least 25%to 125,000 Mcf/d, pending approval to drill anew well, Hussain Monsur, chairman of state-owned Petrobangla, told Platts April 19.“Tullow has made a proposal to us elabo-rating on its plan of carrying out the drillingprogram and increase production from Ban-gora field,” he said without saying whetherapproval would be given.
