UK shelf drilling down to lowest level for eight years

London-Oil and gas drilling activity on the UK Continental Shelf fell by 34% year on year in 2011 to the lowest level since 2003-a delayed result of the 2008 recession, as well as other factors, consultancy Deloitte said January 19.
