Petronas, Hess ink North Malay Basin project contracts

Singapore—Malaysia’s Petronas June 21signed three contracts with US-based Hess,paving the way for the implementation of theNorth Malay Basin project, a new integratedgas development in Peninsular Malaysia, tomeet rising demand in the region.The first contract is the amended pro-duction sharing contract for offshore blockPM302, while the other two contracts arenew exploration PSCs for blocks PM325 andPM326B adjacent to block PM302, Petronassaid in a statement.
