Houston—Despite low US natural gas prices, exploration and production companies are having little trouble obtaining the capital needed to finance their operations, according to a report released this week by Barclays Capital researchers. “Debt and equity issuance in 2011 remained at the same high level as in 2010, although joint venture capital funding was lower,” said the May 29 report in the firm’s Gas and Power Weekly Kaleidoscope.
