Brunei signs deal with Japanese group for LNG supply

Kuwait City—Brunei has signed this week aheads of agreement to renew a contract witha Japanese consortium for supplying some3.4 million mt/year of LNG for 10 years fromApril 2013, energy minister Mohammad Yas-min Umar said March 14.Under the HOA, Brunei will supply the LNGto the consortium of Tokyo Electric PowerCompany, Tokyo Gas and Osaka Gas, theminister said in an interview on the sidelinesof the International Energy Forum here. Break-downs of the supplies for the three companies were not immediately clear.
