Singapore—Sri Lanka plans to launch its secondupstream licensing round by the end of this yearand is currently working on finalizing a consul-tant to help revamp the country’s fiscal regime,a senior government official said June 26.Sri Lanka will offer between eight to 10blocks located in the Mannar and Cauverybasins in the second licensing round, SaliyaWickramasuriya, director general at the coun-try’s Petroleum Resources Development Sec-retariat said on the sidelines of the 17th AsiaUpstream Conference in Singapore.
