Cape Town—Companies wanting to gain access to acreage in Nigeria will be given the opportunity “very soon” in a new bid round, the ministry of oil’s director petroleum resources Osten Olorunsola said October 31. Olorunsola said a new licensing round was “very much on the table,” offering blocks in water depths of up to 1500 meters.
