Jakarta—BP has restarted the Tangguh LNG project’s 3.8 million mt/year Train 1 after completing scheduled maintenance, although it is still unclear when the other train will be back online after a fire knocked it out last week. “Following on-time completion of scheduled turnaround, Tangguh Train 1 has re-started LNG production,” BP’s Asia Pacific President William Lin said in an email November 12, without giving further detail. Train 1 is expected to reach full capacity within a week.
