Iraq excludes ExxonMobil from exploration bid round

Baghdad—Iraq’s oil ministry has excludedExxonMobil from the upcoming auction of12 exploration blocks after it published April19 its “final list” of prequalified companies,which did not include the US major.The ministry said its fourth contractlicensing round, which has been delayed sev-eral times, is on track to be held May 30 and31 in Baghdad, with a total of 47 companiespre-qualified to participate.
