Northeast US gas lines set to come online

Houston—Several Northeast natural gas pipeline expansions and new builds totaling some 1.8 Bcf/d are set to go into service this week, aimed at relieving Marcellus Shale bottlenecks Projects that are completed and waiting for final Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approval to begin service November 1 include: Dominion’s 200,000 Mcf/d Marcellus Northeast; Dominion’s 150,000 Mcf/d Ellisburg-to-Craigs; Northern Fuel Gas’ 320,000 Mcf/d Northeast Access Expansion; Tennessee Gas’ 250,000 Mcf/d Northeast Supply Diversification; and Spectra Energy’s 200,000 Mcf/d TEAM 2012.
