Austria’s OMV sees production recover further in Q1

London—Austria’s OMV said April 23 its oil and gas production continued to recover in the first quarter of 2012 as more of its Libyan output came back online. In a trading statement, the company said production averaged 304,000 b/d of oil equivalent in the quarter, up 5% on the previous quarter and 2% above the 299,000 boe/d it produced in the year-ago period.
