PTTEP set to join Pertamina in East Natuna

Jakarta—Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production is set to join Indonesia’s state-run Pertamina and ExxonMobil in the giant East Natuna project in the South China Sea, replacing Petronas which pulled out of the project in February this year. PTTEP and Pertamina have signed a part nership agreement on the East Natuna block said Ali Mundakir, Pertamina’s communicati vice president October 19. Mundakir, howev er, declined to disclose details on how much stake PTTEP will hold in the project.
