Moscow—Russia’s crude oil productionamounted to 42.23 million mt (10.27 millionb/d) in June, up 1.2% on the year, accordingto preliminary data from the country’s energyministry published July 2.The June output number shows Russianproduction is still steadily growing despite pre-dictions from within the country’s own govern-ment that it would plateau this year.Russia’s total crude production in thefirst six months of the year grew 1.6% on thesame period of 2011 to 256.54 million mt.
