Dhaka—Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation’s losses will almost double in fiscal 2011-2012 to Taka 160.8 billion ($1.97 billion), from Taka 88.4 billion a year earlier, due to a rise in global oil prices and a surge in imports, Finance Ministry data showed June 7.
