Premier hits 2011 output target, sticks to 2012 plan

London-UK-based Premier Oil said January 19 its average oil and gas production for 2011 came in at the bottom end of guidance at 40,400 b/d of oil equivalent but reiterated its plans to increase output by more than 50% this year. In a trading update, Premier said it contin- ued to expect production to average 60,000- 65,000 boe/d in 2012, with an exit rate for the year of 75,000 boe/d.
