Lukoil vows production fix after Q2 decline

Moscow—Russia’s Lukoil will stabilize its production in the coming months with the aim of returning to gradual output growth in 2013- 2014, the company’s vice-president Leonid Fedun said August 31. Fedun was speaking after a disappointing second quarter results statement that showed Lukoil’s oil and gas output dropping year on year, contributing to a significant fall in profits. “We’ll reach a flat [production] level in September-October,” Fedun said.
