Iran assumes $85/b oil for new state budget

Tehran-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahma- dinejad has submitted to the country's parlia- ment his government's budget for the next Iranian year, which assumes an oil price of $85/b, slightly above the price on which the current budget was calculated. The budget comes as Iran is finding it more difficult to receive payment for its crude oil exports-which the National Iranian Oil Company has put at 2 million b/d cur- rently-because of the international sanc- tions targeting its banking system and its financial institutions.
