Moscow—Russia’s fourth-largest oil producerSurgutneftegaz expects its 2013 crude outputto remain roughly flat on the 2012 level ofaround 62 million mt (1.24 million b/d), depu-ty CEO Vyacheslav Nikiforov said April 20.“We are [currently] at plateau—in 2013we expect roughly the same output, up ordown one million [mt],” he told reporters onthe sidelines of an industry event in Moscow.Earlier this year, Russian media reportedSurgutneftegaz CEO Vladimir Bogdanov assaying the company planned to produce 61.5million mt of crude, up 1.2% year on year.In 2011, Surgutneftegaz increased crudeoutput 2% to 60.78 million mt, the companysaid in January.
