Singapore-India's LNG imports are expected to grow in 2012 as domestic natural gas pro- duction is declining, Bernstein Research said January 18. The country's gas production fell 10% year on year over October-December 2011, the third quarter of India's April 2011-March 2012 fiscal year. This was primarily led by lower gas production from Reliance's eastern offshore D6 block in the Krishna Godavari Basin, where October-December output slipped by about 20% year on year, Bernstein said.
