Singapore—Hong Kong-listed trading companyBrightoil Petroleum February 27 reported netprofit of HK$965.2 million ($124.45 million)for the six months to December 31, 2011,up 63.8% from the corresponding period theprevious year.Revenue for the period, which is the firsthalf of the company’s 2011-2012 fiscal year,was 89.8% higher at HK$36.26 billion, on“significant long-term business growth” and“upstream business” developments, Brightoilsaid in a statement.
