Cenovus ready to open data room for oil sands assets

Calgary-Cenovus Energy will partially open its data room in late summer to kick-start the process of seeking partners to develop future oil sands properties in northern Alberta, a senior company official said June 13. "We will open up by August-September with a teaser, which will be a three-to-four page document outlining our overall objectives, development strategy, production plans and the required capital expenditure," Chief Operating Officer John Brannan said on the sidelines on the annual Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers oil and gas conference here.
