London-Greenpeace activists occupying a drilling rig being used by UK-based Cairn Energy offshore Greenland have been arrested after a four-day protest, the environmental campaign group said. The occupation of the rig was ended late June 1 by a group of climbers believed to be from the Danish navy, Greenpeace said, with two of its campaigners arrested. The activists had been living in a pod suspended below the Leiv Eiriksson rig since May 29 in a bid to delay Cairn's plans for exploration drilling offshore the North Atlantic island this summer.
