Kyushu Electric inks LNG deal with Donggi-senoro JV

Singapore-Japan's Kyushu Electric January 20 signed a heads of agreement to buy 300,000 mt/year of LNG for about 13 years from the second half of 2014 on an ex-ship basis from Indonesia's Donggi-Senoro LNG joint venture, the Japanese utility said. Following the signing of the HOA, Kyushu Electric hopes to conclude a sales and purchase agreement "as soon as possible," a company official said January 20. The official declined to give more details on the HOA.
