Hayward: Genel output to double by 2013

Erbil, Iraq-Genel Energy could see its oil production double within two years of concluding its merger with Vallares, Tony Hayward, CEO of the UK investment vehicle, said November 13. Completion of the $4 billion merger is expected within a week and the combined company would start trading in London as Genel Energy from November 21, Hayward told the CWC Kurdistan-Iraq Oil and Gas Conference in the Kurdish capital Erbil.
