Moscow-Russia's Duma, the country's lower house of Parliament, has approved the third and final reading of amendments to the country's tax code, which will result in tax breaks totaling Rb47.1 billion ($1.49 billion) for oil companies Tatneft and Bashneft. The Duma late November 18 approved a tax deduction of Rb37.84 billion for Tatneft and Rb9.28 billion for Bashneft, designed to offset the companies' losses resulting from Russia's new 60-66 tax regime.
