Iraq August oil production drops to 2.69 million b/d

Amman-Iraq's oil production fell to 2.69 million b/d in August, down by 30,000 b/d from July and the first time since April that oil output has fallen below 2.7 million b/d, oil ministry figures obtained by Platts on September 28 show. But total crude oil exports rose by 22,000 b/d in August to 2.17 million b/d with oil shipments from southern Persian Gulf ports the main contributors to the rise, the figures show.
