New York-The US Department of State March 15 said it "expects to request public com- ment on a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement" for TransCanada's pro- posed Keystone XL pipeline in mid-April. In a "media note," the department said the supplemental EIS "will seek public com- ment on issues that will benefit from further public input. A Federal Register notice, to be issued in the mid-April time period, will pro- vide further details."
