Essar to export 92 RON with isomerization unit

Singapore—Indian Essar Oil’s new isomerization unit at its Vadinar refinery will enable the company to begin exporting 92 RON gasoline, a company source said December 15. Essar’s current gasoline export program consists mostly of the 90 RON grade. Traders said the company was already in the market offering a 92 RON cargo. The isomerization unit at Essar’s Vadinar refining complex has a production capacity of 0.7 million mt/year. The company commissioned the unit earlier this month.
