China's crude throughput hits new record in february

Singapore-China's state-run companies pro- cessed a record high volume of crude oil on a daily basis in February after several refiner- ies cranked up output ahead of scheduled turnarounds, while others raised output after coming back from maintenance. The country's crude throughput increased 10.3% year on year to 35.2 million mt in Feb- ruary, or an average of 9.22 million b/d, high- er than the previous record of 9.16 million b/d in December 2010, figures released March 11 by the National Bureau of Statistics showed.
