Pertamina plans big refined products push

Jakarta—Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina expects to boost its oil products output by 64.3% to 66.7 million kiloliters (419.50 million barrels) in 2018 from 40.6 million kl in 2011, CEO Karen Agustiawan said December 28. The increase is expected to come from the start of new refineries and upgrades of existing plants, and is aimed at lowering Indonesia’s dependency on fuel imports, she said.
