Japan's Inpex on track for December fID on Ichthys

Perth, Australia-Japan's Inpex remains on track to take a final investment decision on its more than $20 billion Ichthys LNG project in Australia in December 2011, a company execu- tive said April 12, speaking on the sidelines of the Australian Petroleum Production & Explora- tion Association's annual conference in Perth. Inpex is currently nearing the end of front- end engineering and design work for Ichthys. The project is owned 76% by Inpex and 24% by French major Total.
