Thailand firms up plan to offer 21 exploration blocks

Bangkok-Thailand has firmed up plans for a new bidding round with a total of 21 exploration blocks up for grabs in the next three months. The Department of Mineral Fuels plans to issue invitations to bid in the kingdom's 21st licensing round in January 2012, subject to a cabinet acknowledgment expected in the near future, DMF officials said October 5.
