Tesoro plans hike in use of Bakken crude oil

Houston—US refiner Tesoro is gearing up torun more Bakken Blend crude, confirming twoseparate projects July 15 that would secureadditional barrels. The company said in a July 15 statementthat it intends to significantly increase BakkenBlend from North Dakota through a rail projectat its 120,000 b/d Anacortes, Washington,refinery. The plant produces gasoline, jet fueland diesel.
