Gas storage tops 2 Tcf on larger-than-projected build

Knoxville, Tennessee-A bigger-than-expected 105 Bcf injection pushed US gas storage inventories past the 2 Tcf mark last week, the US Energy Information Administration said May 26. The build was above consensus expectations ranging from 90 to 94 Bcf, and compared with a 100 Bcf injection a year earlier and the five-year average of 95 Bcf.
