India's Essar Oil swings to profit on improved margi

Mumbai-India's Essar Oil posted a net profit of Rupees 2.73 billion ($60 million) for the October-December quarter of 2010, compared with a net loss of Rupees 2.26 billion in the same period the previous year, led by higher refining margins. The company's revenues rose 24% to Rupees 123.33 billion in the quarter from Rupees 99.65 billion for October-December 2009.
