India October crude oil imports fall 3.2% on year

Mumbai-India's crude oil imports fell 3.2% on year in October to 12.57 million mt, or 2.96 million b/d, from 12.99 million mt a year earlier, provisional data from Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell, the research arm of the country's oil ministry, showed November 25. The October total is the lowest monthly figure to date in the current April-March fiscal year, and the second month in a row of yearon-year decline. Crude imports fell 9% year on year in September to 12.76 million mt.
