Chevron sees new uS Gulf drilling this year

Houston-New exploration drilling in the Gulf of Mexico should be under way well before year's end, with the oil and gas industry just "days away" from an agreement with the federal government on spill containment solutions, Chevron's North American E&P President Gary Luquette predicted February 9.
