Washington-Two bills aimed at forcing the Obama administration to speed offshore drill- ing permits and hold lease sales off the Atlan- tic and Pacific coasts passed the US House Natural Resources Committee on April 13 on party-line votes. A third bill was expected to pass, but was still being considered at press time.
