Big storage injection puts US gas stocks at 3.794 Tcf

Knoxville, Tennessee-US natural gas storage inventories rose by 78 Bcf to reach 3.794 Tcf for the week ended October 28, in the last report before the November 1 end of the traditional refill season, the Energy Information Administration said November 3. The net injection was above consensus expectations of a build between 69 Bcf and 73 Bcf. The build was higher than the 67 Bcf injection reported a year ago as well as the 35 Bcf five-year average.
