ExxonMobil to sell stakes in four North Sea blocks

London-ExxonMobil is offering for sale stakes in four North Sea blocks held by its subsidiary XTO Energy, including a 15% stake in Dana Petroleum's Platypus gas discovery, the company said January 13. XTO is offering its 15% stake in the UK's southern North Sea blocks 47/5b, 48/1a and 48/1c, which hold the Platypus discov- ery, and a 33% stake in the Witch Ground Graben block 15/30b, according to a posting on the Schlumberger-operated Indigopool website.
